Managed to take some phorographs with Richard Campbell and Kimberly Tripp. Autographing was at the lowest today with all the prizes already claimed. Hangout in the INETA booth in the afternoon and also visited other booths in the Pavillion. Still can't open the Iverson's safe :'( Everyone was buying Microsoft t-shirts. I didn't buy any.
Here are some pics taken at the INETA booth:
It was good to have William Tay (a speaker in the conference) to hangout in the booth with us. He exchanged some comments and ideas with Daniel on how MIND and SgDotnet could collaborate. That's very nice. Also met my ex-colleague and she also hanged around the booth.
Amy was very fierce. She beat 5 guys in Rise of Nations and won home a copy of the game. Some people also spotted Butt Wai Choon, MD of Microsoft, playing the saxophone with his band, MP3 Plus. Loke Uei was giving out prizes - copies of Visual Basic and Visual Studio .NET 2003 of various editions. The last prize was a Motorola smartphone!
We had hi-tea before the event ended and left the place at 7:00pm+. Everyone had the same look, "Monday back to work liow".
Overall, this year's Tech.Ed was very informative and fun. I collected more cards than I did in previous Tech.Eds and made a lot of new friends in the industry. Although, I didn't get much freebies this year, (apart from the eye-mo and nescafe), the information I got from the sessions was very helpful to prepare me for what's to come.
See you guys in Tech.Ed 2005 next year!
