Its.Animation.Time

Just came back from watching The Incredibles. The movie is not only GREAT, it is SuPeR! *What can you expect from a superhero movie? - Super lah* The storyline is balanced, fun and entertaining. The animation is smooth with well-animated sceneries and backgrounds.

The character that I find most attracted to in the movie was Baby Jack Jack. He is absolutely adorable - watch him when he is at the dining table. Also try to notice him in the background on some scenes. He is so cute! You must wonder what super power he has. The other cast in the family - Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, Violet and Dash are super cool too. Of course, there is uncle Frozone and the super villain, Syndrome.

There is a funny part in the movie telling us why superheroes should not have suits with capes. :) You will find it hilarious. It also reminds us that we need to becareful in what we say to young kids nowadays. It can really cause uhmmm .... problems! I think this is one great movie you shouldn't miss in this festive season!

During the movie, there was a lady sitting a few seats from me who suddenly *snap* on a guy sitting behind her. She complained that he was laughing so loud and he need not demonstrate his sense of humour to the whole cinema. In my opinion, I think, "Hey lady, this is a comedy and people laugh at comedies. If you can't stand people laughing, go watch something where you can sulk".

On another occassion...

I've also watched Shark Tale two days ago during the Deepavali holiday. Comparing this with The Incredibles (or even with Finding Nemo), I can only give . The storyline is ok, the movie is somewhat funny but I feel like there is something missing. Maybe Dreamworks is losing the ummph.

The romance storyline was quite touchy. You can get to see a sexy Angelina Jolie looking fish. ;) The mafia sharks were really jokers. You will definitely laugh at Lenny, the son of the godfather shark, Don Lino. Other funny stuff are the Whalewash, the seahorse-race, Coral Cola and Preparation 'O'.

Looks like the cinema will be exploding with animations this year-end with Cars, Madagascar and Polar Express in the queue. Pixar and Dreamworks are really competing hard man....
