OO.For.VB.NET.Anyone?

I've finally completed my articles for a technology column for the TheStar newspaper. I was recruited by the editors during the last visit to MIND. It has really been a taxing period for me as I have to rush off my assignments, manage the production system at work and work on the articles.

I'm glad it is finally done now. Initially, I was quite reluctant to accept the job but after I looked at the synopsis, I thought of giving it a shot. The articles I wrote will continue from Wen Ching's Beginning Visual Basic .NET programming articles. My topics were regarding Object-oriented programming in VB.NET. Yeah! I know you must be curious on why is a C# MVP writing VB.NET articles. Well, it doesn't matter as long as you get to have fun!

Part I of my article discusses on building simple OOP stuff like writing classes and creating objects. Part II of the article is where it burns me out. It is quite a challenge to explain code as simple as possible. I was almost braindead. I was told that my articles were too long and they need to cut it into Part A and Part B for each. Well, I had to be long-winded a little to make sure that the readers get the idea - especially on delegates. I look forward to those articles being published soon and I pray the editors won't edit it too much that it changes some meanings in the contents.

I would like to thank the MVPs from Singapore and Sri Lanka for reviewing my articles - Thank You Justin, KitKai, William Tay and Prasanna for taking the time to read and comment on my articles. I hope I didn't bore you guys to death. Will bring you guys for dim sum when you visit Malaysia.

Cheers!
