Photo: Diane Edwardson, October 5, 2011. We didn't get our new rain gauge up in time for the rain, but the open trashcans on Corralitas all had about 3" of rain in them by late afternoon. Trash was picked up before 8 AM. (Click on photo to enlarge.)
We always see way more rain than Downtown Los Angeles. I heard one report of 4" in Silver Lake, Wednesday.
