*WHoOPeE* Got to know that I have achieved the following certifications today:
1) Microsoft Certified IT Professional - Database Administrator
2) Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist - .NET Framework 2.0: Web Applications
I'm glad to have achieved my first professional level certification for SQL Server 2005 and my first .NET 2.0 entry-level certification. I hope to bag more certifications in the next 6 months (if I have the time) to build up my certifications portfolio. Eeee... Kiasu-nye. *HeHe* :p
I'm looking forward to see the design of the new certs and wondering about the Charter Member kit. My first kit should be arriving in 6 weeks time. So far, I have passed 5 out of the 7 exams I took and I have received a letter informing me that I have failed my 71-441. *BoOHoOHoO* There goes my hope for the other professional SQL Server cert.
I took 4 more exams for the past two days:
1) Exam 70–551: UPGRADE: MCAD skills to MCPD: Web Developer by Using the Microsoft .NET Framework
2) Exam 70–552: UPGRADE: MCAD Skills to MCPD: Windows Developer by Using the Microsoft .NET Framework
3) Exam 70–553: UPGRADE: MCSD Microsoft .NET Skills to MCPD: Enterprise Application Developer by Using the Microsoft .NET Framework: Part 1
4) Exam 70–554: UPGRADE: MCSD Microsoft .NET Skills to MCPD: Enterprise Application Developer by Using the Microsoft .NET Framework: Part 2
*Exam Frenzy Huh?* It was 16 hours of madness - sorta reminds me of SPM... Biology I, Biology II, Kimia I, Kimia II...
However, unlike the previous exams, I did not have the luxury of time to revise for these upgrades. I just went in cold like some of my colleagues - kamikaze style. Hopefully, I can pass atleast one of the exams but I know my chances are slim. As usual, I will only know about it a few months later.
Right now, I have 5 free vouchers to spend for more certifications. Time to *BoOGiE*
