A new member has been added to the Visual Studio Team System family - Visual Studio 2005 Team Edition for Database Professionals, that allows database developers to participate in the software lifecycle development.
It offers interesting features such as importing database schemas into source control, Rename Refactoring that allows database objects to be renamed easily without breaking references, SchemaCompare that allows database schemas to be compared, DataCompare that allows data in databases to be compared, DataGenerator that allows test data to be generated for testing and lots more.
The CTP is scheduled to be available next week, so check it out if you have the chance.
