Red Car Property: Looking For Really Big Moths

Photo: Diane Edwardson, July 12, 2011.  Native Jimsonweed (Datura wrightii) attracts hawk moths, like the White Lined Sphinx Moth, for pollination.  (Click on photo to enlarge.)  Old-Fashioned Potato Beetle larvae (known here as "bugs in outfits") also feed on this plant.
