Puff.Rush!

Just returned from an adhoc night-out with Cherine (Buttercup). She has been craving for a Pocket PC for the past weeks and when I called her earlier in the evening, she was literally bursting with drool over the HP iPaq rx3500 series. So, I tagged along on her iPaq hunting trip.

8:20pm - First stop at Sunway Pyramid Pregerine IT Centre. It was a big disappointment for her! The latest iPaqs won't be arriving in most of the shops there until tomorrow. :( Luckily, we found one store selling that model but we've got the "Fixed price, no discount" treatment (not to mention that they were a bit aCkSi). Looking at her eagerness to get one tonight, I suggested, "How about Mid Valley?" and whoosh....

Off we went onto the NPE and straight to Mid Valley at 8:45pm on her kancil cruising above 100Km/h. The car flew like a match-box and she said "No worries, I've made modifications to my car. See, my steering is not vibrating like a normal kancil." :)

9:00pm - We reached Mid Valley and went straight to the HP authorized reseller where I usually get my gadgets. They were having an iPaq launch. Cherine happily sat at the counter and a "leng-chai" volunteered to demo the latest iPaqs to her - while I chit-chat with the owner to inquire about the hx4700.

Cherine doesn't look very happy because the discounts were like chicken feet. So, I had a word with the owner and she got a better bargain for a higher-end model, the rx3715.

Alas! Buttercup got her new toy!!! She then flew me home safely. Once again, another powerpuff gals adventure.

PS. I'm still thinking whether I should get a hx4700 ... It is arriving next week...
