Movie.Preview - Dodgeball

A slapstick comedy with some 18SX elements and violent scenes. Not very good to teach the young to throw spanars and bully the weak. Do not bring your kids for this movie.

The story is about a big gym, Globo Gym (something like our gyms nowadays) trying to take over a small gym - the Average Joe Gym. As usual, the guy who runs the big gym is a meanie and a bully. He is also a little mental (who calls his muscular Gym male trainer/bodyguard 'Michelle').

So this big bully is going to buy over the small gym unless the poor owner can fork out 50K to clear his mortgage. All the workers in Average Joe gym won't give up so easily of course. The solution - Dodgeball. A type of queer sport (something like our Chopping except it doesn't use tennis balls, but use something like basketballs). So they went through all the weird training (beating girl-guides) to qualify for the sport only to find, Mr. Meanie has also formed a team, the Purple Cobras.

Overall, a nice, stupid movie, good for the laughs.
