Often we may hear people refer
Windows Workflow Foundation as WWF. I would like to point out that while
Windows Presentation Foundation and
Windows Coummunication Foundation were both introduced as WPF and WCF respectively, the abbrevation for Windows Workflow Foundation is actually WF.
Why? I don't really know. Probably WWF is already reserved for
[Even the World Wrestling Federation was renamed to World Wrestling Entertainment] Checkout
Wikipedia.
So the next time you hear someone calls Windows Workflow Foundation as WWF, kindly correct the person.
