Red Car Property: Hawkwatch, They're Everywhere Today

Photo: Diane Edwardson, July 28, 2011, 9:24 AM.  I caught sight of a mid-sized, grayish colored hawk, that was definitely not a Red Tail, calling for breakfast near the Adelbert All-Weather Lounge on the Red Car Property.  (Click on photo to enlarge.) In the past, I've seen Red Shouldered Hawks in the area between the Adelbert All-Weather Lounge and the Historic Viaduct Footings.   Photo: Diane
