Red Car Property: Growing Season All Screwed Up This Year

Photo: Diane Edwardson, January 16, 2012.  The early rain and unseasonably warm weather has native Arroyo Lupines blooming on the Red Car Property meadow, before the plants are even 3" tall. (Click on photo to enlarge.) Usually, lupines don't bloom until March, once they've grown a lot more.
