Just completed an ASP.NET application for Bernard and boy, do I hate ASP.NET. It is either I have been coding too much ASP lately (accumulated hatred) or I have grown too accustomed to Windows Forms development. The HTML designer is really terrible and I'm glad Microsoft did something about it in Visual Studio 2005.
Although I have seen pretty pages for web applications, I still don't fancy them. I don't like the idea of scripts and pages and cookies and what nots. I can't wait for XAML in Longhorn to revolutionalize the way we build User Interfaces.
Anyway, it was a well-worth effort to sharpen my skills. Less than 14 hours on basic UI development and functionality. And powered by Paladin! ;)
