Before you start asking WHAT?! It was actually mom's idea. Before I left for work that day, she looked at me with those rounds eyes, pulling my sleeves and said, "Kam Man Ngo Tei Hui Muk Don Nou" (Tonight we go McDonalds). So I brought them there that night *The waitress was like duh... aren't you guys supposed to be at home?*
We walloped 3 Prosperity Meals and 2 sets of Ayam Goreng McD. *My parents can really eat man!* They drank my 7up too! *BuRp*
On the first day of Chinese New Year, we did the usual visiting to my grandma's house. Had some "chai" (Vegetarian dishes), chatted with my uncle (about Nokia phones) and went home to code Paladin.
The second day was more tiring as I had to chauffer my parents around to our relatives' house. And relatives came visiting us too. *Drive here drive there* *ToTaLLy iNSaNE*. Continued my chat with my uncle - managed to get him excited with 7710 and 6630. Brought my parents to watch Constantine later in the night. *Bluigh! Lousy show.*
When we came home, we had a surprised! Silvie has gave birth to four beautiful kittens. *Actually, she gave birth to six, but the other two didn't make it*. Since the kittens was born on an auspicious day, I have taken the liberty to name them Gong Xi Fa Cai - Happiness and Prosperity. Mom said, it sounds kinda weird, so she added that since it was on "Xien Nien", (New Year), we should name them Nien Gong, Nien Xi, Nien Fa and Nien Cai.
So, here were are, my four auspicious fung-sui kittens:
Nien Gong, Nien Xi, Nien Fa and Nien Cai.
Notice the white spot on Nien Cai's forehead.
So, there you go, my Chinese New Year stories...
